BASIC TALK - Dialogic Interpretation Your Way Online Training
Explore the modules of the BASIC TALK course, designed for completion in approximately 6 hours on your own schedule. From an introduction to the Miro whiteboard, to mastering the TALK model, each section is carefully curated for a comprehensive learning experience. The TALK model includes these four important elements: Try Talk Types, Ask open-ended questions, Lead with Facilitation Techniques, and Keep on Inspiring. Together the modules cover all the key elements you need for successful two-way interactions with your visitors. The Miro platform makes the course interactive, visually appealing and collaborative- it's like no other course you've seen before!
Courses begin on the first of the month, offering you a 30-day window for completion. Your course cohort will include interpreters from a wide variety of sites; giving you an opportunity for networking and shared learning. Dr. Jacquie will provide weekly comments on the class whiteboard and be available online at a scheduled time for office hours.

ENHANCED TALK - Dialogic Interpretation Your Way Online Training
For those seeking to elevate their expertise, the ENHANCED TALK course is your next step. Building on the 6-hour BASIC course, the additional 2+ hours focus on creating a TALK-based experience for your site using InterpActive's Recipe Card planning template. The TALK model includes these four important elements: Try Talk Types, Ask open-ended questions, Lead with Facilitation Techniques, and Keep on Inspiring. Rounding out the course is a private half hour feedback session with Dr. Jacquie to review your plan and cover your questions.

CUSTOM TALK - Tailored Training for Your Group
Our CUSTOM TALK option lets you shape the online training experience to fit your group's specific needs. In a tailored, self-guided Miro-based course, the cohort would be made up of your staff only.
As a group your staff would work through the BASIC and ENHANCED TALK modules and activities and receive Jacquie's weekly comments and half hour private feedback sessions. To help you direct the discussion in the course, we are happy to provide free access to the Miro board for one supervisor per 8 students. The Miro platform makes the course interactive, visually appealing and collaborative- it's like no other course you've seen before!

Online training is offered online on your own time, through the Miro whiteboard. Other courses and coaching are offered virtually (at scheduled times, via Zoom/other and Menti.com) or face-to-face. Additional costs required to cover travel for face-to-face training.
