After your team explores Participation, Information and Encouragement, we will move on and spend the bulk of the session on TALK (AKA Dialogic Interpretation).

The TALK model includes Talk Types, Ask Open Ended-Questions, Lead with Facilitation Techniques and Keep on Inspiring and covers all the essentials of dialogic interpretation. This is a quick course with limited time to discuss any of the content in detail.

How could your team engage visitors in dialogue when an interpreter is not present, such as through exhibits, signage or other media? We will look at examples and then focus on your site. You will leave with a draft plan for enhancing site-specific multi-way dialogue among your visitors using a variety of techniques. Bonus- Visitors engaged through these techniques will leave behind thoughts that you can share with management in your reports.
